Dalkia Termo Prahova S.R.L., member of the Veolia Environnement Group - Number 1 in Europe on the energy services market - has decided through its top management the elaboration, implementation, functioning and certification of an environmental management system, having as a referential the SR EN ISO 14001:2005 standard for the activity of producing electricity and heat. With the help of this system and starting from the premise that “By protecting the environment, we protect ourselves”, Dalkia Termo Prahova S.R.L. commits itself to:

• function according to legal obligations and to other applicable demands concerning our environmental issues: the exhaust of pollutants in the air, the water, solid waste, events that have a potential for accidental pollution – in order to be able to demonstrate that we run our activity having in mind the prevention of pollution;

• efficiently use the natural resources that are involved in the running of our activity;

• sensitize our personnel and the personnel working for our organization and having an optimum communication oriented towards ensuring an active participation to the implementation of the environmental management program.

We commit ourselves to ensure the necessary resources for the documentation, implementation and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System and we delegate the authority for the implementation and the maintenance of this system to our representative for the environmental management.

All our employees are directly responsible to assume actively the enforcement of our environmental strategy and policy.
